Terms of use

Zwik is the online workspace for podcast teams, on zwik.app. You plan episodes, write run sheets and keep guests, advertisers and contacts. Each podcast has its own workspace.

You create an account for your podcast, or an administrator does. Keep your password and any backup codes to yourself. What happens with your login is attributed to that account.

You sign in with email and password. If you forgot the password, choose a new one from the login page. Two-factor authentication is an extra choice, not a requirement.

Use Zwik for the work of your podcast. Not for abuse.

• No intrusion, no malware and no attempt to read another podcast.
• No content that breaks the law or someone’s rights.
• No guest or contact data without a proper reason to process it.

Text, photos, guest details and commercial notes stay with the podcast that enters them. That podcast is responsible for having the right to do so. Zwik only receives the right to host that content and show it to the users of that podcast, for as long as the workspace exists. Platform administrators may open and manage that content only for administration: help, the service, abuse and technical maintenance. Not for other purposes.

The data processing agreement is part of this agreement. Zwik processes personal data of guests, team members and advertisers on the podcast’s instructions. The text is on the data processing agreement.

Prices on the pricing page include VAT. A 14-day trial. The first charge is the day after the trial ends. During the trial you only give permission for automatic collection. After that the podcast stays readable until it is paid. Payments run through Mollie. Cancelling stops renewal; the paid period runs out. Invoice questions go to [email protected].

We do our best to keep Zwik reachable. There is no fixed availability promise yet. Maintenance, outages and updates can interrupt the service for a while.

The software, the name Zwik and the design stay with Zwik. You receive a right to use Zwik, not ownership of the platform.

Zwik is a tool. We are not liable for damage caused by missing content, a recording going differently, or the service being briefly unreachable, to the extent Dutch law allows.

This limit does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness. Rights a consumer cannot waive under the law remain in place.

A platform administrator can stop a podcast or an account, for example in case of abuse or when the collaboration ends. You can stop yourself through your administrator or via [email protected]. After that, the retention periods in the privacy policy apply.

We can change these terms. The date at the top of the page moves with that change. If a change really matters for use, we mention it in Zwik when that is reasonable.

Draft. A private customer can ask Zwik to start right away and understands that the right of withdrawal then ends once the service has been fully delivered. Business customers with a VAT number are outside this section.

Dutch law applies to these terms. You bring a dispute before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless a mandatory law appoints another court.
