What we process

Account: name, email, role and podcast. Passwords are stored only as a hash. You sign in with email and password. If you forgot the password, choose a new one from the login page.

Podcast content: episodes, run sheets, guests, commercial notes and contacts.

Payments

Subscriptions are paid through Mollie. Zwik sends Mollie the amount and a reference for the subscription. Mollie processes the payment (such as iDEAL, card or Bancontact) and keeps the payment details that requires. Zwik does not store full card numbers. Invoices are kept for the legal retention period. For the tax administration we keep the country, the VAT number and the VIES result, including the consultation reference.

Who we share data with

We do not sell data. Processors include Netcup (the server), Cloudflare (traffic and the certificate), Mollie for payments, and Mailgun (Sinch, EU region) for email with guests and for account mail (welcome, trial, payment and password). Guest messages stay with the guest in Zwik until that guest is deleted. A password-reset link works for 1 hour.

Transfers outside the EU

Netcup is in Germany, Mailgun is in the EU region and Mollie is in the Netherlands. Cloudflare processes traffic from the United States and worldwide. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, Cloudflare uses standard contractual clauses (SCCs).

How long we keep data

We keep the account and podcast content while the podcast or the account exists. Daily backups of a podcast are kept for 12 months. We keep the country, the VAT number and the VIES result for the tax administration. Guest email stays with the guest until the guest is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority.
